Macramé is the relaxing art of tying knots to create decorative items, with its roots in the Middle East.
In this in-person workshop, you will create your own beautiful full-sized Macramé Wall Hanging!
We will learn the three basic knots of macramé, and you'll walk away with basic knowledge to use in all types of macramé projects.

Topics covered in the workshop include:
- Simple knotting instructions and demonstrations, suitable for beginners or people with some macramé experience
- Tips for a professional finish
No previous macramé experience is necessary, although this workshop also works for previous workshop attendees.

Project Materials
You have two choices for rope to use:
- Bobbiny macrame rope (11 color options): 395 AED
Or
- Braided white cotton cord: 365 AED
Everyone will also receive a hand sanded wooden dowel, 40 cm in length

Location and F & B
The workshop is upstairs at One Life DXB, a beautiful and light filled area with room for us to spread out to keep social distance.
They will prepare a delish brunch spread for us. Past buffet items include:

Health and Safety:
Due to social distancing guidelines, I'm limiting attendees to 8 people, so everyone can have their own clothes rack to work from. The pricing reflects this precaution.

Rope will be pre-ordered according to your RSVP. For this reason, we require pre-payment at the time of registration, in order to secure your spot.
Cancellations for the workshop are accepted until 7 days before the event (minus a small transaction fee). After that time, I can offer a credit to be used on a future workshop or DIY Kit.
This date is subject to the changing circumstances and governmental guidelines and may be delayed. I will email attendees to update them regarding any changes.
